# Conversations

Every time a visitor sends a message to an agent, a session is created. The Conversations page lists every session across all your agents so you can see what visitors are asking, debug unexpected responses, and review skill activity.

## Session list

The list shows sessions in reverse chronological order. Use the agent filter at the top to scope the list to a specific agent.

Each row shows:

| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Start time | When the first message was sent |
| Messages | Number of messages in the session |
| Lead captured | Whether the visitor shared their contact details |
| Agent | Which agent handled the conversation |
| Personality | Which personality version was active |

## Session detail

Click a session to open the full transcript. Each message shows:

- **Role** — user or agent
- **Timestamp**
- **Skills fired** — any skills the agent called during that turn, with the inputs sent and the outputs returned

The skill activity is particularly useful for debugging. If the agent gave an unexpected answer, check what the skill returned — often the issue is in your endpoint's response, not the agent's reasoning.

The transcript also shows:

- Memory events (if [User Memory](/docs/ask/user-memory) is enabled) — facts stored or removed during the session
- Rich content blocks returned by skills
- Lead record link (if contact details were captured)

## Filtering

Use the filters at the top of the list to narrow by:

- Agent
- Date range
- Whether the session generated a lead

The search bar runs a full-text search across message content. Use it to find sessions where a specific topic came up — helpful for identifying questions that are not yet covered in your knowledge base.
