Leads

When a visitor shares their contact details during a conversation — name, email, phone — the agent captures them as a lead. Leads appear in the dashboard and can be exported as CSV or pushed to your CRM via webhooks.

How leads are captured

The agent captures a lead when it successfully collects at least an email address from the visitor. This happens naturally in conversation — you do not need to configure a separate form. If you have a lead capture skill or flow, the agent stores whatever fields that skill returns. Without a dedicated skill, the agent captures contact details the visitor volunteers in the chat.

Each lead is linked to the session it came from, so you can open the full conversation transcript directly from the lead record.

What each lead shows

FieldDescription
NameVisitor's name, if captured
EmailVisitor's email address
AgentWhich agent captured the lead
Captured atDate and time the lead was created
ConversationLink to the session the lead came from

Use the filters to narrow by agent or date range.

Exporting leads

Click Export CSV on the Leads page. The export includes all captured fields and the session ID for cross-referencing with your Conversations data.

Pushing leads to your CRM

Use Webhooks to push lead data to your CRM in real time. Subscribe to the lead.captured event — it fires whenever a visitor's email is collected. See Webhooks for setup and signature verification.

GDPR and data removal

To fulfil a right-to-erasure request:

  1. Find the lead on the Leads page (search by email).
  2. Open the lead detail and click Delete lead.
  3. If the visitor also has stored memories, open the linked session and clear their memories from the Memory panel.

The conversation transcript is retained until the 90-day retention window expires unless you also delete the session.
